Presentation Guidelines
Please find below the specifications for each type of contribution at the conference.
Poster Presentations
- Format: A0, portrait orientation.
- Attendance: at least one of the authors (preferably the submitting author) must be present during the poster session. If the first/submitting author is unavailable, a co-author must attend.
Lecture / Oral Presentations
- Duration: each presentation is allotted 17.5 minutes, including the talk and discussion time.
Symposium Presentations
- 5 speakers: 90 minutes total (including discussion).
- 4 speakers: 70 minutes total (including discussion).
Oral Presentation and Poster
Please ensure your abstract (max. 200 words) is written in paragraphs, free of typos, and that all email addresses are current.
Symposia
A symposium includes a chair and four to five presenters (a discussant may replace one of the presenters). Symposia will be scheduled in a 60–90 minute time block, including time for discussion among presenters and the audience. Please have the symposium chair submit the abstract; all presenting speakers should be listed as co-authors.
The submission should include a paragraph outlining the overarching theme and its importance in the context of individual differences research (max. 150 words), and max. 150 words outlining each speaker's individual contribution.
